Then we have a job for you as a Business Developer - Ethical and Responsible Business.

In this role, you will take ownership and contribute to the following areas:
•    Leading the work to secure that our supply chains are responsible and ethical at all levels and tiers, aiming for full transparency and traceability.
•    Developing strategies and tools to be used by buyers and decision-makers to ensure that ethical and responsible business is fully integrated in the Procurement operations. 
•    Ensuring that Volvo Cars is well prepared for upcoming legislations related to global supply chains e.g. EU mandatory due diligence legislation. 
•    Developing and following up on relevant KPIs in the area of ethical and responsible business.
•    Increasing sustainability know-how among colleagues and suppliers. 
•    Investigate and execute new opportunities in responsible business practices, in collaboration with our suppliers, our sustainability champions and external collaboration platforms e.g. Drive Sustainability.

You are expected to have documented knowledge:
•    Be highly knowledgeable in the sustainability field and know how to balance and merge environmental, social and economic business aspects to shape the future of mobility.
•    Have significant experience from working with global supply chains and setting up structures and due diligence activities in line with internationally recognized principles to ensure responsible business. 
•    Have prior experience of working with supplier sustainability evaluations and risk assessments as well as have deep knowledge in the area of human rights.  
•    Be forward-looking with a proven track record in how to transform operations to contribute to responsible business practices.
•    Have a structured way of working, strong collaboration skills, and at the same time an ability to take ownership and independently drive projects.  
•    Be used to analyze complex sustainability data to gain insights for business purposes and decision-making
.
We value if you also have experience in conducting and controlling ethical business responsibilities in the supply chain. Up to date knowledge of upcoming due diligence legislation within EU and other countries
Experience from working with conflict minerals and working conditions in Africa is an advantage.
