Purpose, Offer and Benefits

As a Business Developer at PostNord, you will be responsible for identifying and developing future innovative revenue streams for the PostNord Group - both with current and future business opportunities in mind. The nature of your work will be varied and flexible. Part of your role will involve working on PostNord´s long-term strategies, identifying and analysing trends and building a network of contacts.

You will be joining an industry that has recently gone through major changes both in the long term, with changed customer patterns and in the short term, due to the effects of the pandemic. The need for innovation is great and the department has the CEO´s full support when it comes to new ideas and strategies.

Your Responsibilities

As Business Developer, you will be part of a small team whose task is to identify new revenue streams for PostNord to focus on. This may mean finding potential partnerships or other ventures where PostNord is already established that can be improved, or identifying where PostNord should establish itself in the future.

Part of your task will be to keep yourself up-to-date on market trends, but also to identify and present new business cases. For the right person, an opportunity to pursue a managerial position for business areas may later present itself.

The role involves:

• Work with business analysis and market attractiveness
• Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders in business development and innovation
• Maintain an overview of current business developments within PostNord
• Keep track of trends in business development and technology
• Create strong relationships with senior managers within the company

The Bigger Picture

You will primarily be based in PostNord´s head office in Solna and report to the Head of Business Development. Start date as soon as the chosen candidate is available.

Our Expectations

We are looking for an individual who has previously worked with analysis and revenue-generating business development and who feels that they are ready to take on a new challenge. You have possibly worked with business development or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at a larger company or currently work at a management company as a Strategy Consultant or Investment Manager at a Private Equity/Venture Capital (PE/VC) company. You may be seeking to take the step towards shouldering a larger responsibility at work and keen to take on business and revenue-driving development projects yourself. You have good analytical skills and a solid understanding of business development.

You are interested in long-term trends as well as new technology and possess an unconventional mindset that allows you to solve new problems in innovative ways. As a person, you are structured, communicative and are motivated by challenges.

This role requires very good knowledge of English and that you master a Nordic language fluently in both speech and writing.
