Business developer for the HVAC industry
We are looking for a digitally experienced Business developer to drive further growth within the HVAC industries.
You will be part of the Equipment sales unit in BU GPHE. The successful candidate will have background and knowledge of the HVAC industry and market, and a proven track record of successfully developing sales and customer relations. We are on an exciting journey positioning ourselves as the number one clean tech company in the eyes of our customers with our heat transfer knowledge and an innovative product offering.
As Business developer for HVAC, you will be instrumental in positioning Alfa Laval as the market leader in heating and cooling applications, implementing communication strategies and actions to drive continued growth, increased market share and developing lasting relations with key customers around the world.
About the job
As Business developer, you will develop and communicate our value proposition to the HVAC industry. You will be responsible of gathering all our application expertise and technical knowledge and displaying it through various digital channels with the help of our market communication team. Furthermore, you will assist Sales Companies in their market planning for sales and application development and drive towards our goals.
Your responsibilities will, among other things, include:
* Create relevant industry content for our various digital communication platforms.
* Engage in industry related forums and drive our agenda within those forums.
* Create and conduct presentations to the HVAC industry in conferences or in webinars
* Create training material and conduct trainings for our sales companies
* Support all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially
* Co-operate with other Business Unit functions, such as the Industry managers for HVAC, application experts and the market communications team.
Who are you?
You have a record of successfully developing sales in an international business-to-business environment, preferably within the HVAC industry. You have experience from value selling and positioning and you are passionate about digital communication. Further requirements include:
You are a good, customer-oriented communicator with a strong commercial drive and who like to educate and inspire people.
You have a technical background and you are fluent in English both in writing and speaking. Experience of plate heat exchanger technology is valuable.
Practicalities
The position is based in Lund and you will report to the Manager Key customers.
You can travel 30-40 days per year
