What you’ll do
As Business Developer you will belong to the newly formed Business Development organization within Procurement & Supply Chain, which is responsible for shaping and implementing Volvo Cars Global Procurement & Supply Chain Strategy and leading our Global Transformation Program, including areas such as Sustainability, Continuous, Business Office, E2E transformation, Continues improvement and Competence development.

In this role, you will take ownership and contribute to the following areas:
You will drive process development of Procurement & Supply Chain processes and be responsible for requirements setting towards the digital department. You will also be responsible for process implementation across our organization. You will lead/contribute to various initiatives within our Procurement & Supply Chain Transformation Program as well as implementing strategy development and execution.
You will work closely with colleagues within Procurement & Supply Chain, Digital, the Engineering & Operations Cluster as well as other Volvo Cars functions.
What you‘ll bring
- A Documented experience of min 3 years in Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Strategy function
- A proven history of well-delivered projects.
- Experience working with digital tools covering End-to-End Supply Chains.
- Experience in process development, primarily within Procurement/Supply Chain.
- A Master’s degree in Business or Engineering or extensive experience in the specific field.
- Experience in encouraging innovation and transformation.
- Global experience, primarily from multinational OEM companies or Management consultant firms.
