About Us:
We are in a transition to go for Smart Buildings / Internet of Things (IoT) with the vision to have a Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) in our facilities. We are working with a new real estate strategy where sustainability and attractiveness is to be on par with cost. Smart buildings / Internet of Things (IoT) is an important part to support our journey in all these aspects.
What’s in it for you?
As Business Developer Property Technology, IoT, you will be part of the Center of Excellence team that is responsible for driving strategies, directions and performance through development and improvement initiatives, together with Workplace Globally.
What you will do:
* At Volvo Cars, you will be responsible to drive and develop Workplace (WP) digitalisation strategies and concepts against an IOC (Intelligence Operation Center) according to business prioritation.
* You ensure data sharing and combinations between systems, sensors and BMS (Building Management Systems) to optimize output.
* You will be in the frontline of knowledge IoT (Internet of Things) and Building Management Systems
* and secure efficient usage of digitalisation for the WP organisation together with product owners and the rest of the team.
* You will also set up processes when needed and to secure compliance.
* You will drive own projects when needed and collaborate with, support, and advise both internal and external stakeholders in these matters.
Your Skills:
We believe you have a university degree in the relevant area, e.g., Digital or Control and regulation technology, BMS and more than five years relevant work experience. It is a merit if you have experience from business and operational development work within IoT, Building Management Systems and/or Smart buildings and/or Property technology.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you are a collaborator who builds trust to drive results in a good way. You really enjoy developing and implementation of efficient structures and processes to achieve targets. We think you are good in structuring, analyzing, coordinating and have proven project management skills. At the same time, communication is an important part of the role to create engagement around the topics.
