The purpose of Car Service Operations is to enable an effortless car usage and service experience. The automotive industry is currently under-going a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviours, technology shifts and digitalization.
Service Concepts is a unit within Car Service Operations. We are on a transformation journey and Service Concepts play a vital role in making the transformation happen.
Our purpose is to drive transformation of the service network by developing and implementing sustainable service concepts that drives profitability, efficiency and enables service excellence for our consumers.
We own and implement the Customer Service Process, the Volvo Personal Service concept (VPS) and the product team Service Network & Concept Innovation owns workshop formats like Mobile Service and Service Satellites.
As we are now moving into a phase where we roll out and implement our concepts and formats, we need a new colleague to our unit, that will focus on Business Development in the Service Network & Concept Innovation team.
About the position
In the Service Network & Innovation team you will develop existing and new concepts and formats and be a part of the implementation in markets. You will innovate and identify new potential business areas and improvements, as well as support markets in analyses, assisting them to develop their Service network and business.
What you will do
You will ensure compliance of implementations of our formats and concepts. This includes, securing National Sales Companies market competencies and processes for implementation, follow up and support. Deliver projects according to plans, escalate if targets are not met according to plans.
Ensure that decided and agreed Service network concepts are implemented on retailer level.
You will also collect new ideas and business opportunities from our stakeholders to ensure that these are evaluated centrally.
Furthermore, you will:
· Maintain and develop collaboration between internal stakeholders and organisation, as well as our National Sales Companies and importer markets.
· Secure that National Sales Companies and importer markets has the competences and processes needed for securing our concepts and formats.
· Ensure compliance of implementations of our formats and concepts.
· Support National Sales Companies and importer markets in training and explaining their role when starting projects or implementing new concepts and formats.
· Act on issues in agreed plans and escalate if targets are not met.
· Collect new ideas and business opportunities from National Sales Companies, importer markets and retailers to ensure that these are evaluated centrally as improvements.
· Together with the team, develop existing and new concepts and formats.
Who you are
You have proven experience from the automotive retail- and customer service environment and business development. Good knowledge of customer service processes and experience from markets (National Sales Companies, retailers, customers) are important.
You have proven Project Management skills and experience from Change Management.
You are fluent in English and since this position requires traveling, it’s important that you have the ability to travel.
Experience from Agile way of working and workshop experience are meritorious.
On a personal level
You have a strategic and entrepreneurial mind-set, as well as analytical skills. You are experienced in developing concepts, formats and processes and you always put the customer in focus. You are a great communicator with excellent cooperation and networking skills.
