We are now looking for a Business Developer for the Idea Exploration Lab.
The Idea Exploration Lab is a part of the Laboratory where we stretch ourselves and test things to keep H&M Group a growth machine in 10 years from now. ​

Job Description
As a Business Developer within the Idea Exploration Lab you are primarly tasked with developing and diversifying business so that income increases, and the future and growth of the organization is guaranteed. Your big focus lay around the best strategic and financial outcomes for the organization.
This is a senior role where the expectation is for you to develop growth strategies and plans. Writing business proposals, negotiate with stakeholders on contracts, identify and map business strength and customer needs, research business opportunities and viable income streams, follow industry trends etc.
Further areas of responsibilities;
Keeping an outside in perspective and pinpoint growth drivers that will help our business grow. You look for business benefits in line with our current strategy and other growth opportunities you might see to constantly challenge
Summaries opportunities and challenges you discover
Analyze and set business plans for projects we decide to run as well as driving the projects forward with momentum and making sure deadlines are met together with your team
Carrying out the tests and projects and deliver against results
Prepare materials and do analysis for various business cases
Hold ownership of budget and resources needed within your area
Provide and present findings to the Laboratory and the H&M group at large
Develop others that you collaborate with in your area and constantly develop the Laboratory’s way of working
Proactively encourage and ensure co-creation across organizational boundaries

Qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated, purpose driven person with a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for building growing businesses. A person with extraordinary visionary and strategic skills which they combine with a talent for building hands-on teams with a get-it-done attitude and inspiring, straight forward communication. They thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and are constantly looking for possibilities to develop new ways of working based on the overall picture.
In addition to matching the personal profile we also seek the following qualifications:
An academic degree in relevant field
A true passion for building new businesses models and cases including scale-up
Strong track record from leading cross-functional and multinational teams - developing markets and new business segments – experience of informal formal leadership
A solid commercial focus – sales driven with a curious mindset, always focused on the best and most cost-efficient solution
Extraordinary communication and presentation skills including written and verbal skills in English
