Service Operations & Technology operates in Volvo Cars Service Operations, responsible for making life less complicated for consumers by providing efficient, desired, and sustainable technical solutions and concepts for our service providers. This responsibility goes all the way from product creation to implementation in the markets.
About the role
The ART Service Concepts within Service Operations & Technology need talented people on board. People with passion, energy, business sense and the drive to innovate and change the car usage experience. This may be an excellent opportunity for you to take on a new challenge! We are searching for an engaged Business Developer with communicative skills.
As Business Developer you will play a key role in developing new Service Concepts for our retailers and support our markets in implementing them. Our current concepts include Volvo Personal Service, Damage Repair, Smart Repair by Volvo and Mobile Service. You will focus on our Volvo Personal Service which enables our Retailers to deliver high customer satisfaction and efficiency in their service operations.
Volvo Personal Service (VPS) is a unique service concept that drives high customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency. The concept defines how to interact with the customer, how to design and operate an efficient workshop and what roles and responsibilities that are required. Volvo Personal Service has proven to improve part sales and customer satisfaction in Volvo workshops globally.
To succeed in this role, we believe you need the ability to drive cross-functional tasks and work closely with stakeholders such as Global Regions and Retailer Network.
What you’ll do
You will be Business Developer in a team with focus on our Volvo Personal Service concept and supporting tools and processes. Main responsibilities will be:
• Implement and maintain Volvo Personal Service concept and supporting tools with help of our market located Implementation Managers and National Sales Companies.
• Plan and follow up mainly Volvo Personal Service concept roll out in your assigned markets.
• Evaluate Workshops from both a concept and business perspective and create actions to improve in needed areas.
You and your skills
We believe you have proven experience from the automotive retail- and customer service environment and developing business models.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Volvo’s Customer Service Process and/ or equivalent customer service processes within the Automotive industry.
Experience from markets (NSCs, retailers, customers), proven Project Management and Change Management skills are meritorious.
You as a person
As a person, you are passionate about driving change that makes a difference. You have good written and verbal communication skills in English. You have experience from quickly learning new contexts and an ability to communicate and describe those to a third part.
You have analytical skills, sees the holistic view and a strategic and entrepreneurial mind-set.
You are a great communicator with excellent cooperation and networking skills, have always the customer in focus and enjoy developing Service workshops, people and processes.
