We are now looking for a Business Developer with focus on digitalization and communications to one of our offices in Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam, London or Hamburg.
The Communication development team enables Vattenfall Communications to be a well-functioning Communication’s entity. Communications development works with ensuring that the Communications department have the right strategies, the right competence, cross functional ways of working, full control of our contracts, tools, planning and follow up. Included in this is the ownership of Vattenfall intranet.
About the position
Communications development is a small team consisting of both male and female coworkers and we would like to further diversity the team in as many dimensions as possible. We have a broad competence and are highly skilled in organizational development, operational excellence, change management, communications and digital workplace experience.
As Business developer in Communications, you will have the initial responsibilities of both Business Information Officer (BIO) and Data Process Coordinator (DPC) for Vattenfall’s Staff Functions Communications team. Both parts are described below:
BIO -being responsible for managing the IT demands of SF Communications as well as contributing with communication perspective of Vattenfall tools (Digital employee experience). The BIO develop the Communications IT strategy and manage the IT project portfolio. This is done by tight collaboration with SF Comms stakeholders to understand the strategic direction, operational IT challenges and IT service improvement opportunities.
DPC -acting as the contact person around Data Protection (GDPR) related topics within SF Communications. This includes giving advice, coordinating the Data Protection activities within SF Communications as well as being first line contact person for Data Protection incidents.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Communications IT strategy and strategic IT roadmap for Communications, as a part of Vattenfall's overall IT and Communications strategy.
Proactively manage the Communications IT portfolio and associated budget including prioritizations.
Act as Communications representative in user adoption and working towards the best Vattenfall Digital Employee experience.
Collect and understand Communications IT related demands from the Staff Function and initiate realization in cooperation with Vattenfall IT and third parties.
Act as Project sponsor for SF Comms IT projects.
Manage our regulatory obligations in the area of data protection.
Ensure full readiness in case of a data breach in SF Communications.
Represent SF Communications in several forums within the areas of responsibilities.


Qualifications
Your Qualifications and who you are
Your solid background within communications together with your good understanding of IT make you a strong candidate for this position.
You might have had responsibilities as product owner of an intranet or expertise in digital workplace experience and can communicate fluently in English verbally and in written form. We see your experience in operational excellence, change management as scrum methodology as merit and your ability to with many opportunities to work with all parts of an international company.
You are able to adapt to various situations and have an open mind when understanding other perspectives and opinions. You are someone who enjoys finding red threads and solutions to problems both independently and together with your team. Clear communication and a strategic business mindset allows for you to prioritize and find ways of collaboration and negotiation in order to reach the goals set for yourself and your team.
You have an academic education within Communication, Business Development, System Sciences of the equivalent. Added merits include having experience working with any of the other responsibilities in the team and being able to communicate in Swedish, German, Dutch or Danish.
