Want to work with exploring new customer propositions and business models, keeping the end to end process in mind?
As a Business Developer within Decentral Energy Solutions (DES)
you will develop the DES business together with our Team. DES is primarily responsible for the solar PV business in the Nordics. Apart from general business development work, special focus for you would be within the area of:
Partner management Installation/material
Responsible for proposing, negotiating, managing and developing DES agreements / cooperation with partners around installations and material (entrepreneurs / installers) incl contracts (in collaboration with Procurement)
SPOC for DES regarding partners around installations and material
Identify challenges in the partner interface regarding cooperation/process/market, develop a strategy, plan and ensure execution accordingly (also proc mgmt.)
Responsible for pricing. Continuously monitor market prices and improve, adopt, develop new price models. Ensure implementation is done and do follow ups.
Take part in the product development process including the decision to launch a new product, as well as ensuring adequate product knowledge in team and product information to customers. Be responsible for product price negotiations with suppliers.
Subprocess –” order to onboarding” – operational and strategical
Ensure efficiency and continuously improve the subprocess - functionality, level of automation, roles and responsibilities (incl installation, invoicing, claim etc.) – develop adequate KPIs and follow up
Ensure rules and regulations are followed such as GDPR, consumer purchase act etc. in the process as well as in all contractual terms
Ensure tight cooperation & knowledge sharing with E2E responsible as well as other subprocess-owners and pitch improvement ideas for prioritization, enabling best possible customer experience and most efficient process
Tight cooperation with all units involved in the process incl a continuous dialogue with Vattenfall staff functions ex. Procurement, Legal in order to continuously improve efficiency as well as minimize risks
Second level of escalation when uncertainty and/or need of interpretation in the daily business (negotiations with partners, contractual interpretation etc.)
Lead and/or participate in DES development projects/assignments
For B2B – tight cooperation with other Sub-processes and Salespersons incl deciding on sales strategy incl installer and margin for customers

We also think that driving change in collaboration with stakeholders and partners requires flexibility, thinking out of the box and an ability to stay calm when needed.

Your qualifications
Academic degree (Master of Engineering) and at least 15 years relevant working experience
Experience from working with business development / managing large projects with many stakeholders (managing partners, SPOC is a plus)
Passion and insight in the Energy business (from the Solar business is a plus)
Good understanding of the business logics in various business segments
Process management experience and knowledge
Good understanding of the opportunities in the rapidly emerging digital area
Fluent in Swedish and English verbally/writing – knowledge of Finnish is a plus
