Job Description
Within BA Customers & Solutions the customer comes first. The employees strive to deliver the best customer experience and provide relevant offers and services to the customers. With over six million customers, Business Area Customers & Solutions is responsible for the sales of solutions and energy contracts to private and business customers in Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway.
As a business developer/Subprocess owner within DES you are responsible for realizing part of the strategic ambition of helping customers becoming fossil free within one generation by providing relevant offers and services to customers and delivering the best customer experience. This means ensuring an excellent customer proposition and a smooth and efficient customer journey as well as an efficient supporting process incl a price indication, offer/quotation, installation, invoicing, dunning, service, claims and guarantees i.e. entire value chain.
DES is primarily responsible for the solar PV and storage business in the Nordics, but manages also the heat pump business as well as the development of future products and solutions for BU C&S Nordic.The unit has full P&L responsibility and well as responsibility for regulatory compliance along the value chain.
Business developer/Subprocess Owner is a position within the DES organization of Vattenfall, reporting directly into the N-2 Director of DES.
The Business developer/Subprocess Owner DES is responsible for a subprocess (market to lead, lead to order, order to onboarding and onboarding to ambassadorship). The responsibility includes;
About the position
Operational
Manage business and ensure targets are met together with the other Subprocess owners
Ensure a well-functioning customer journey within the subprocess as well as a seamless transfer to the next phase for customers.
Ensure quality and quantity of the services provided, according to set KPIs (incl product supply meets demands)
Ensure rules and regulations are followed in the process as well as in all contractual terms.
Manage daily prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support (workload) together with the other “Subprocess owners” (The Subprocessowners act as a team and are responsible for the units results and need to work closely with one another ensuring deliveries are according to plan)
Financial as well as business reporting both quantitative and qualitative and in accordance with the set rules and procedures
Budget – calculation of need in order to meet targets, monitor and follow up
Development
Propose and if changes are needed implement a satisfactory customer journey within the subprocess as well as a seamless transfer to the next phase for the customer. Including continuous improvements of the UX – NPS as measurement of success
Perform research, data analysis, and validation to ensure movement in the right direction i.e. improve efficiency; lowering costs and increasing customer experience, throughput, quality etc.– implement relevant KPIs and follow up
Identify, prepare and present improvement ideas incl BC and if prioritized, ensure development and implementation
Whenever possible translating the business/ process needs into IT demands and if prioritized ensure development and implementation of deliveries from the DevOp team
Lead and/or participate in DES development projects / assignment
Strategic
Governance ownership of fulfilment within business segment (B2C or B2B) together with the other “Subprocess owners”
Lead or participate in projects that are of a strategic nature on Group, BA or BU level – representing the DES unit
Budget – plan, request and follow up

Qualifications
Master degree in Engineering and/or Business (is desirable)
5-10 years of experience in similar position
Experience from working with business development / managing large projects with many stakeholders (managing partners, steerco, executive mgrs) including implementation of changes
Good understanding of the opportunities in the rapidly emerging digital area
Process management experience and knowledge
Good understanding of the business logics in various business segments
Fluent verbally / writing in Swedish or Finnish as well as English language
