Your role as Business Development Director
Foodora is currently looking for a dedicated growth-oriented Business Development Director to join their Nordic organisation. You will work close to and report directly to the CEO of Delivery Hero Nordics
As a Business Development Director, you will support the country teams with strategic and tactical initiatives - which means you will be involved in all aspects of analyzing and launching new growth opportunities and improving existing processes. You will work closely both with the country teams located in the three Nordic countries and also with the central teams located in the global headquarter in Berlin. Projects that you would manage will vary over time and could include:
Launching new features in our app with the help of our product team in BerlinAnalysing the potential of new business venturesLead cross-functional initiatives to improve current way-of-workingImprove and set up new operational principalsImprove and lead reporting and communication within foodora Nordics and versus the HQ in Berlin Improve pricing on different product features based on ROI analyses
You will gain exceptional insights into foodoras business by driving projects from idea all the way to implementation as well as deep-dive into current processes to deliver incremental improvements.
Your qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering or similar from a top-tier university5+ years’ experience from management consulting, investment banking, high-growth startups, FMCG or similar. Previous experience from e-commerce and/or tech is an advantageFluency in English requiredExcellent quantitative skills, used to building financial models and analyzing and acting on large amounts of dataExcellent project management skillsPrevious experience in sales, project management and fast-moving entrepreneurial environments is a big advantage in this role
As Business Development Director you will be running multiple projects at the same time and manage a variety of different work streams which requires you to have an excellent ability to multitask. You also have to be positive, energetic and have a proactive attitude, as foodora set out to do what others believe impossible.
