Business Development internship for Courses

Are you a business student looking for practical hands-on experience to kickstart your career in sales and commercial development? We are looking for a talented and driven Business Development intern to join our team here at Hyper Island.

Job description and responsibilities

As a Business Development intern, your key impact will be on accelerated pipeline production and growth of our online and on-site courses in Europe.

You will drive our sales growth across Europe by enhancing and building our sales pipeline - identifying and qualifying prospective customers within target industries, exploring potential new markets, setting up initial sales meetings between prospective customers and the Courses Sales team, and reporting effectively in our CRM tool (Hubspot) to keep track of all leads throughout the sales process.

Your primary focus will be on outbound sales prospecting and lead generation, through a multi-channel approach of cold calls, emails, social outreach and independent research. This means the majority of your time will be spent on reaching out to potential clients through the early stages of the sales funnel and screening their intention to buy.

You will be a part of the Courses Sales Team and report to the Director of Courses, Europe with weekly and monthly results.

At the end of your internship we will provide you with references and letters of recommendation. Moreover, if there is great alignment on both sides, and you’ve demonstrated strong work ethic combined with great results, you may be offered a permanent position within Hyper Island’s commercial team.

This internship is part time and flexible to your schedule, so you can combine it with your higher education studies. However, you need to be able to work at least 20 hours a week (50%) with the majority falling between 9am-5pm (business hours). Your work schedule, depending on your availability, will be discussed during the interview process.

Who we are looking for?

You are able to articulate yourself. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as English is the main language we use at Hyper Island. Other languages are a plus.

You are driven, organised and manage your time efficiently

You work effectively in a team but can also comfortably maximize your individual potential to optimize quality and efficiency of your responsibilities.

Terms

This is an unpaid internship position and we are looking for a 4 month internship commitment.

Start date: flexible / as soon as possible

Location: Stockholm / flexible remote
