Business Development Manager

We are looking for someone who dares to challenge the way we work and to drive change to profitably develop our business and safeguard the delivery to our customers. As part of the management team, you will lead and develop the business development strategy for the factory in collaboration with your team.

You identify and develop new business opportunities for new and existing customers, maintain existing affairs with key customers, and develop the segments and product portfolio for the factory.

Your day-to-day work will be to
• Define growth opportunities by identifying growth areas, trends, new markets and customers, partnerships, products, and services, and/or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Develop growth strategy to achieve the Factory's short- and long-term business objectives, focusing on customer satisfaction and further improving the ways the business operates
• Be aware of the trends and changes in the business and adapt the strategy and plan. Drive necessary activities in response to the market and customer needs and to remain competitive as a key market player
• Foster customer mindedness in the Factory and enhance customer value creation in our processes
• Integrate business development strategy into operational action plans and activities (with operation and support functions)
• Engage in regular SWOT review with the Factory Management Team
• Engage and align with stakeholders to execute the business development plan
• Act as Factory representative and resource in strategic projects by Product Line, R&D (Research & Development) and Cluster
• Lead the business development, business team and product engineering teams
• As a manager you lead and coach your team members through SKF’s values and safeguard that current rules, agreements, and policies are applied

We expect you to be/have
• Experience and knowledge in product & manufacturing processes
• University degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Experience of working with customers and sales, and having the ability to explain the value of our products
• Experience in project management
