Business Development Manager Service Market Marine Nordic
Volvo Penta Service Market Marine is responsible to develop the Service Market including parts & accessories business by providing premium customer support to the business partners within region Nordic and we are now looking for someone who want to initiate and perform activities to maintain and grow our marine market shares!


This is how you will make an impact as Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager you will be part of the Nordic Service Market team and report to the Director Service Market Nordic. Your main focus will be to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction generating increased service market sales results. The job includes parts & accessory sales responsibility to the Marine Segment in some of the Nordic countries.


More specifically you will implement sales & marketing activities, identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and parts & accessories sales. You will coordinate overall management of marine dominated Volvo Penta Center (VPC), coordinate with colleagues in other segments regarding technical support & competence, engine sales and Industrial Service Market. Change management towards Business Partners regarding new systems and processes will also be a part of your job.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for Dealer Development plan, monitor performance by following-up Direct account/VPCs on KPIs and targets and also plan and perform regular VPC and VPS audits according to Dealer Operating Standards (DOS).


And not to forget, you will have the amazing opportunity to travel for work!

Finally, you probably have a university degree, successful track record in sales and competence in logistic flow and parts pricing.

THIS IS US, your new colleagues
Now you might be wondering who we are. We are a team of 7 persons located in Gothenburg, Helsinki and Oslo.


There are three different roles in the team; in addition to this role there are three Service Engineers who helps our Business Partners and OEMs to solve any technical problems, we have a parts support engineer who helps our Business Partners to find the right part numbers, drawings, delivery times and other practical day to day issues that arises. There are two Business Development managers who will help you to get up and running in your new role.


At the moment we are changing to an activity-based office, and we offer the opportunity to combine work in the office with work from home. We will regularly gather the team in real life combined with digital meetings to keep us updated regarding everything from business to daily activities.
The team is built on trust and even though we sometimes are far apart we always support each other in all aspects.
