Synopsys’ is targeting a Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving business for our EDA software products. The success of the role will be measured by growing product line deployment in the EMEA region and exceeding business targets.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for driving awareness for EDA software products across the platform and exceed aggressive business targets and objectives. Serves as interface with territorial sales team for aligning on business proposals to meet customer and business goals. Develops relationships with customers and transition the opportunity to sales team with clear direction on the final deliverables
Executing campaigns to expand the market opportunity of the product lines and business pipeline. Aligns with product marketing to drive continuous enhancements and differentiation over the competition based on the market needs.
Partners with the Field Engineering Organization to prioritize and define campaigns that help drive forward Business growth across all software products.
Helps the sales team to initiate engagements and support business closure. Works with senior executives in the business unit and sales and advises senior management on key technical or business issues.
Qualifications
BS or BA with 3+ years sales or business development experience.
Experience in EDA sales or business development of products supporting the semiconductor industry, a plus.
Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal sales teams and customers.
Ability to understand basic technology and methodologies and translate into customer conversations.
Background in Analog, Digital, IP and/or Implementation, a plus.
Innovative, energetic and a continues drive to support outbound campaigns.
Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with strong organization and program management skills.
Proven ability to collaborate within a team, listen to customer feedback and follow-up to close the loop on open and actionable deliverables
Proven ability to develop win/win relationships between Synopsys and our customers by creating new ways of engaging to help the customer achieve their requirements
Proven ability to think “outside the box” in new, creative ways to problem solve and find new ways to grow business
Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken
Experience in the EDA industry and corresponding methodologies is desirable.
