Introduction

Who are we and what can we offer?
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible to further increase the Service Contracts business proposition within Volvo Trucks. You will help standardizing and improving the business processes around Service Contracts to enable growth and profitability of the Service Contract portfolio. You will ensure that our global markets work according to the Service Contracts defined processes and will implement the related Service Contract systems to boost efficiency and quality within those processes and systems.In this role you will identify business needs and you will support Service Contract Managers in managing their Service Contract portfolio. You will report to the Manager Business Development and be part of the Service Contracts team. Our team is responsible for the development, implementation and back-office activities related to Service Contracts for Volvo Trucks worldwide. In this role you will be part of a global and diverse team that works closely with sales regions around the world.

Your profile
Master degree for an internal applicant is not mandatory. It’s more important that the applicant has gained experience within Volvo and preferably related to Service Contracts
Affinity for process mapping and improvement as well as IT/system developments Analytical mind-set, process-thinking and project management skills
Flexible, pro-active and autonomous team player with a hands-on approach
Talent for cultural integration and willingness to travel occasionally
Leadership, teamwork, communication and influencing skills
Entrepreneurial approach is highly appreciated
Ability to communicate effectively in English language (written and spoken)
