The subsidiary Logistics Solutions is a central part of the development and innovation part of Toyota Material Handling and located at in Gothenburg. Logistics Solutions develops solutions in automation, digital services and inventory management.
YOUR CHALLENGE
As a Business Development Manager you will have a leading role in successfully growing the automation business through selected sales organizations in Europe. The Business Developer is responsible for short and long-term profitable business for TMHE AB and the area of Logistics Solutions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for selected sales organization
* Lead and Support the sales organization to funnel the best sales opportunities
* Work closely with Solution Architects and Solution Management to make sure that the proposed solution can be delivered within the timeline expected by the customer with the expected performance and quality.
* Actively work with sales organizations to grow and implement an automation organization fit for the expected growth in terms of Sales, Implementation and Support to customers
* Support and train local Sales people
* Engage and enforce use and up to date data entry in CRM
* Write, in close co-operation with sales organizations, budget proposals and quotations
* Participate in customer meetings to promote and sell automation solutions
* Govern processes and compliance
* Follow up on market trends, evaluate and create business cases for development needs
YOUR PROFILE
As a person, you have a good understanding of the customer process and technical challenges. You are outgoing and have a consultative approach and mind-set. You enjoy working with customers and excel in building trust and relationships. You are a network builder and believe in promotion of knowledge sharing and reuse best practices. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and analytical and to have the ability to grasp the big picture as well as give attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
A university degree in the field of engineering, computer science or logistics is required. To succeed in this position, you need to have at least 5 years' experience as a Sales Manager and/or Key Account where you have been measured on sales quota. You also have extensive experience from Solution Sales, selling and delivering large and complex technical solutions. You have international experience working in large matrix organizations in global companies. You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Previous experience from the material handling industry or logistics will be valuable and proven history of work in a similar role is important.

Location
Depending on the chosen candidate the location could differ, but preferable in our office in Gothenburg. As a Business Developer, frequent traveling is required.
