About the position

To succeed at Polarium, a multicultural company with high growth targets, you need to thrive in a fast-moving environment. In this role you will be responsible for the global manufacturing development and procedures. You will also drive for continuous improvements in manufacturing, including improved work environment and increased operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Optimize manufacturing processes reducing costs

- Production systems & maintenance process owner

- Supporting and contributing in DPR processes

- PFEMA development and management in NPI/PVT processes

- Functional support to volume MFG operations

- DPR Processes

- Work instructions development and approvals

- Production process design control in NPI & MFG sites

- Industrial engineering for production balancing and OEE targets

- MES systems configurations alignment with process

- Establish methods to measure performance, increase visibility

Qualifications and experience:

- A university degree in engineering or similar experience

- Experience from telecom and/or energy products is a merit

- Experience with Kaizen, Lean and/or CIP processes

- Knowledge of PLC, electrical and mechanics

- Process orientated and analytical approach to delivering operational efficiency

As a person we believe you to be a problem solver and to think analytical and critically. You like working independently and to take initiatives. To be successful in this role you also have a structured and organized way and good cooperation skills. Since you will be working with different functions and teams around the world it is important that you are fluent in English and have great communications skills.

This position require frequent external travels to all Polarium sits and you will report to our EVP technology and Operations.
