ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Business Development Manager at TATAA, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying prospective clients, developing strong relationships, and driving growth through strategic selling. Your scientific acumen and sales expertise will be essential in promoting our services, negotiating contracts, and contributing to our continued success.
Your Essential Responsibilities will include:
• Identify and research potential clients within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, including target companies, key decision-makers, and industry trends.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships by utilizing a scientific approach to identify needs and provide solutions, with a focus on high-level contacts within drug development.
• Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking, industry events, online platforms, and referrals.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for growth and market differentiation.
• Collaborate with the internal team, including project managers and senior management, to develop compelling service offerings and proposals. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining profitability.
• Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company and establish professional relationships.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software Salesforce.
KVALIFIKATIONER
Requirements - Skallkrav
• Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 5 years proven track record in business development or sales roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of qPCR, digital PCR, NGS, and related genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics technologies.
• Familiarity with GLP regulations and ISO 17025 standards is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively convey complex scientific concepts.
• Proficient communicator in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive presentation skills, including a demonstrated ability to successfully close sales opportunities.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
