Do you want to be part of developing and implementing the Husqvarna Construction Division’s strategy as well as various M&A/Post-Merger activities?
Husqvarna Construction has during the last years expanded its business rapidly and is running several strategy and business initiatives to ensure future competitiveness. To secure returns on all efforts we are expanding our Business Development Team with an additional experienced Business Development Manager.
We offer an excellent opportunity to support the strategy development and implementation processes, including seeing the end-result of chosen strategies and actions.
The work conducted takes place with other parts of the organization in a collaborative and coaching team spirit, at a pleasant workplace close to nature just outside Gothenburg in Jonsered.

Your mission and responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Support the division’s strategy development work and implementation
- Lead and coordinate M&A/Post-Merger related integration activities
- Support in the alignment between strategy and operations to facilitate implementation and progress
Key tasks:
- Support the division strategy process, both development and implementation in specific areas
- Project lead and coordinate post-merger integration and/or due diligences processes
- Drive and coordinate market and competitor analyses and reports
- Lead periodical assessment of alignment between strategy, organization, initiatives and resources and suggest improvements
- Support division management in the decision-making and management process maximizing the short-, medium- and long-term profitability
- Ensure connectivity, close cooperation and alignment across functions
Be a role model creating a learning environment. Collate and deliver feedback and ‘lessons learnt’ to help drive continuous improvement.
You will report to the Construction Division CFO and the position is based in Jonsered outside Gothenburg.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a university degree within a relevant area and solid minimum five years’ working experience in strategic development and planning, business development and M&A/Post-Merger Integration - preferably acquired from management consultancy or in-house in a larger corporation. You have also experience from project management and have successfully lead projects in a global matrix environment. You are result oriented and service minded with strong influencing skills, previous negotiation experience is a strong plus. You combine a hands-on, pragmatic approach with strategic thinking and are willing to roll up your sleeves and do hands-on work yourself.
