We’re now looking for a Business Development Manager B2C to drive the development of our consumer rental offering.

The role
In the role as Business Development Manager B2C you will be responsible for our recently launched Solar Rental offering for residential customers. You will be a key player in setting our long term roadmap for the rental offering based on Svea Solar’s overall strategy and be responsible for executing on that roadmap on both long and short term. As Solar rent is a new concept in Europe we don’t necessarily expect a candidate with tons of experience in this particular field - but overtime the right candidate will develop into Svea Solar global product expert in consumer solar rental.

In a nutshell, it's about taking global ownership for Svea Solar’s B2C rental offering and driving both short- and long-term development of the offering across our 5 markets.

Your work will include tasks such as:

- Develop, plan and execute a product roadmap that aligns with Svea Solar strategy on both long and short term
- Be responsible for the customer value proposition, sales arguments, go-to-market, pricing and positioning of the rental offer
- Develop and commercialize new business models combining the rental offering with other products in the Svea ecosystem
- Drive solar rental sales by coaching sales teams and working with senior leadership and global support functions across Svea Solar
- Drive transition to a state-of-the-art scalable and digital sales process for rental sales
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful development of your offering including new market launches
- Coach our local organizations in providing trainings, Q&As, ad-hoc support, collect market feedback, monitor competing offerings, etc.
- Ensure that the rental offering and sales process is compliant with financing requirements and regulations

Feel free to challenge us but we’ll fine comb your application to find things like:

- 4+ years of experience from product management OR from top tier consultancy or similar
- Experience from working in international environment
- Experience from a startup and international expansion
- Experience from the energy sector is considered a plus, preferably B2C
- A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in a relevant area
- Fluent in Swedish and English
