We are looking for a Business Development Manager to the newly established company Global Load Out Solutions AB, a new entity in the Volvo Group. The new company will focus on accelerating the commercialization of a set of Volvo innovations within material logistics. These digital services will support our customers to improve workflow, transparency of data, boost profitability and reduce environmental impact. We will build this company together and you will be part of the journey from the very start. Your impact will definitely make a difference!
As our Business Development Manager you will have a broad role and truly be a central person in our team. You will work tightly together with our Managing Director in all aspects regarding developing the company business strategy. You will monitor and analyze our market, industry trends and competition – what effect will your analysis have on our emergent business strategy? How do you best convey your findings - maybe a market expansion playbook? A question for you to constantly keep close at heart is how we create value for our customers - you understand our customers' everyday lives, their needs, their pain points and can even act as change management guide to our bigger customers. You work together with the Product owner to propose Business- and price models. The Sales team rely on you for content/sales messaging and for processes and tools supporting the sales team. At times you step in to support sales activities and customer contacts. You own our marketing channels and act as interface to our partner in communication and marketing management.
Who we think you are
We believe you have a university degree, maybe from Industrial Engineering and Management or Business Development. You have a proven track record of turning industry analysis into business strategy and sales plans. Other experiences you might have in your backpack could be Sales -for sure, work in a fast-scaling business, Value stream mapping, and/or experience of B2B Service solutions. You bring a keen technical interest, experience from the heavy construction industry is a plus. People will for sure describe you as analytical and strategic. You have acquired strong communication and presentation skills. You have a strong self-drive and want to have an impact in the organization you chose to belong to.
