Your Mission
Your mission is to develop the organic growth of the business, with a strong focus on expanding our market shares and increasing our top line through very close collaboration with our Customer Centers. This is a senior management position, reporting directly to the Global Sales Manager Ground Support. You will own the commercial KPIs and focus on their execution, developing effective commercial models, both direct and indirect, which will unleash the regional & divisional ability to grow the business organically.
Your role
Our Ground Support Business Line looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the market across Europe with close synergies with our Customer Centers.
In line with our Mission, your main goal will be to grow OPR, while growing the topline and master the internal efficiencies. You will develop and grow the business in the underground Mining & Tunneling segment in all its dimensions with responsibility of coordinating internal and external stakeholders and seeking new business opportunities in order to grow the Ground Support business globally.
Your Profile
We see that our candidate should have a university degree, preferably in mining engineering or have acquired similar competence through work experience. A geotechnical background is also preferable.
You have been working minimum five years in international marketing in the mining industry and have an understanding and experience of sales & marketing tools. A good understanding of Global Mining Business is a plus as well as good knowledge of English, verbally and in writing communication skills is essential.
Your personality is of course very important in this recruitment. We see that you have a strong customer focus as well as strategic business thinking. Since it always happens a lot of things in our organization it´s valuable that you also have strong change management skills. Our candidate will also be well organized, self-driven and have a good balance between operate independently as well as a team player.
Location and travel
Location is to be decided somewhere close to our local offices in Europe. Regular travelling is required.
