We are now looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to drive new business initiatives for the continued success of Axis!

The role
As Business Development Manager Future Business, you are responsible to identify and develop areas for growth for Axis. This activity includes business development within technology areas such as analytics and connected services and to position Axis portfolio in an evolving market environment.
Other development areas can be included as technology and market potentials evolve.
The initial focus for the role will be to take on the responsibility to further develop the commercial strategy as well as the development of the Go To market strategy and Business plan for life cycle device management. You will be and act as a subject matter expert towards internal and external stakeholders and support the sales regions with taking the offering to the market.
You will evaluate new business opportunities and drive and expand Axis addressable market and work with Go-to Market strategies. This will include working in partnership with both the sales head regions and central resources in Global Sales, Marketing and Solutions Management to develop the strategy, tools and educational material needed to become successful with new initiatives.
You will also coordinate and share best practices between the different markets and work closely with Marketing to develop and deliver effective messaging and sales tools.
Besides the above, you will;
* Act as a subject matter expert towards internal and external stakeholders.
* Actively initiate and coordinate with regions new pilot opportunities to test new concepts
* Actively seek input from the market and sales regions on new market opportunities.
* Investigate and understand the aspects of new opportunities and the potential future implications on the organization, business models and security industry
* Coordinate internal resources and communication between sales, business development, marketing etc.

* A technical understanding and interest
* A background from an international business environment.
* Understanding the dynamics of using a two-tier distribution model and a network of business associates, aka partner network.
* A strategic mindset yet capable of working hands on to move things forward.
* Experience of setting up new business models and Go To market strategies for new areas.
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Experience from informal leadership
