InfiMotion Technology develops, manufactures, and sells high performance electric drive units for fully electric vehicles, addressing the whole value chain, including production software and single components.

InfiMotion was founded in 2021 in Wuxi, China, and lead investors are companies such as Geely Auto, Lotus and Ningbo Luma, with a professional board of directors with experienced powertrain and automotive executives from well-known Geely Holding companies.

By the end of 2022, InfiMotion aims to have 700 experienced employees across two R&D Centers in Gothenburg Sweden and in Wuxi China. The InfiMotion team has been responsible for over two million sold units to date, by which over 100 000 were delivered to the European market. The first batch of new high-performance products will go into production in late 2022.

InfiMotion is now looking for a Business Development Manager! This is a unique chance to join a company with great values, the right mind set and skilled professionals. Not to mention getting the opportunity to work in their newly built office located in the Uni3-campus on Lindholmen!

Responsibilities/Tasks:

The role consists of two parts:

Firstly, business development for electrified powertrain systems e.g. represent InfiMotion’s product portfolio to the markets and customers; analysis of global market demand and market requirements; perform customer segmentation and portfolio targeting; develop go-to market strategies for InfiMotion’s service and product offerings; perform competitor analysis; create sales materials as well as build up and expand business relationships with customers.

Secondly, product management for electric drive units / e-axles e.g. working with defining and optimizing product offerings and portfolio based on market requirements; analyze and predict technological trends as well as define R&D/AE topics to develop InfiMotion’s service portfolio based on market trends; create insight into the impact of global regulations on product technology and service portfolio; and also represent InfiMotion at conferences, expos and in publications.

Requirements to succeed in this role:

To succeed in this role, we think that you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar and/or 5-7 years of relevant professional experience. It is highly preferable if you have experience from electric drive units/e-axle development and/or electrified/electric powertrain development, otherwise at least professional experience from the automotive industry. We also want you to have experience in product management and business development as well as working with customers abroad.


We also think that you need to have the following skills:

- Strong intercultural communication and teamworking skills.
- Commercial and strategical thinking to drive the product and its related business in a fast-changing market environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluent in English, German is highly preferable

- Willingness to travel
