Client, Account and Affiliate Origination and Management

Role Summary/Purpose
To leverage GE Lighting's solution-based value proposition to successfully win sustainable and profitable business within the Outdoor Lighting market in the Nordic region. This consultative role specifically targets Municipalities, Contractors, Installers, End Users and market influencers with Outdoor LED solutions, providing customers with relevant and attractive commercial proposals.

Essential Responsibilities
.Proactively identifies and wins sustainable and profitable lighting projects with targeted Outdoor Lighting end users and influencers
.Develops and implements customer-specific sales strategies to ensure customer needs are translated into viable and successful commercial proposals
.Creates focused action plans, utilises marketing resources and builds a lead generation campaign to create a robust pipeline of near and long-term opportunities
.Develops strategic, long-term relationships with key decision makers at end users
.Builds relationship value and the GE Brand with targeted end users by continuing to mine for unmet needs and linking them to other GE Lighting Solutions or other solutions within the broad GE portfolio
.Identifies prospects and reinforces GE's value proposition through networking events during and out of business hours
.Creates and delivers impactful presentations to end users to inspire them to specify GE Lighting Solutions; clearly demonstrates the value proposition as influenced by changing legislation and new technology advancement
.Maximises revenue opportunities for the business by owning the sales process with the end user
.Uses CRM Tool to maintain competitive information, share pipeline of opportunities and track results of End User targets
.Seeks creative ways to leverage GE and GE Lighting Solutions including developing sales strategies to stimulate demand for intelligent devices, data-driven analytics & value added services/new business models
.Seeks to understand the customer's value drivers, and illustrates the financial and intangible benefits of the GE solution
.Takes ownership of tendering process for Outdoor Lighting projects

Qualifications/Requirements
.Educated to degree level or equivalent within a Business/Commercial discipline
.Proven project/solutions sales ability and strong pipeline development credentials
.Proven track record in management, development & control of opportunities through the sales cycle/customer's buying cycle
.Experience selling to Municipalities and good knowledge of the outdoor lighting market in the Nordics
.Experience working through the project development process
.Experience and knowledge of the tendering process for outdoor lighting
.Demonstrated orientation and strong track record for achieving substantial business growth with a high degree of personal initiative, drive, pragmatism and resilience
.Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-making and processes at senior/board levels
.Ability to clearly present and articulate a value proposition
.Proven analytical skills, able to understand the business dynamics, strategy and potential of various types of our customers and provide solutions utilizing all that GE has to offer
.Tenacious approach along with a self-motivated attitude and ability to perform well under pressure and deliver results
.Enthusiastic and ambitious individual with a flexible approach to work, willing to be part of an established team
.Confident, shows optimistic 'can do' attitude and expresses strong belief in own ability to succeed
