Volvo Penta Service Market Marine is responsible to develop the Service Market including P&A business by providing premium customer support to the business partners within region Nordic.


As Business Development Manager you will be part of the Nordic Service Market team and report to the Director Service Market Nordic. The position is based in Gothenburg and involves frequent travelling where your main focus will be to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction generating increased service market sales results. The job includes P&A sales responsibility to the Marine Segment in the Nordic countries.


A successful candidate will initiate and perform activities to maintain and grow market shares within the Nordic region.


Following activities are included in the Business Development Manager role:
Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and parts & accessories sales
Coordinate overall management of marine dominated Volvo Penta Center (VPC), coordinate with colleagues in other segments regards to technical support & competence, engine sales and industrial Service market.
Responsible for Dealer Development plan
Monitor performance by following-up Direct account/VPCs on KPIs and targets
Change management towards Business Partners, regarding new systems and processes
Secure continuous development of the Service market capability and the technical competence at our business partners together with the competence/training and technical support teams
Implement sales & marketing activities
Plan and perform regular VPC and VPS audits according to Dealer Operating Standards (DOS)
Monitor and improve dealer satisfaction to Volvo Penta which include service dealer’s loyalty to local VPCs
Prepare and process internal & external business reporting

To be successful in in the role as Business Development Manager we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:
University degree or similar
Successful track record in sales
Ability to network and social skills
Competence in the logistic flow and parts pricing
Negotiating skills
Passion, knowledge and interest in engines and service market is an advantage
Great communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
