Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to build Scania’s future and lead the electrification shift? The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range, this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.

The Strategic Sales & Analytics function exists to accelerate volume growth by validating business opportunities through small series projects with strategic customers. The team is also Scania’s customer analytics advisory for the transition to electrified transport systems. To be successful, we believe in a mix of technical and commercial colleagues who together combine knowledge within transport operations, electric vehicles, charging and energy into profitable and sustainable solutions.

Now we are looking for a senior professional with strong commercial drive and proven track record in similar roles. The mission is to drive strategic sales from prospecting to offer design, customer negotiation, closure and follow up.

Work description, examples

• Drive small series prospecting, offer design, negotiations and commercial setup close collaboration with our E-Sales Managers, Business Units, Dealers, Fleet Sales and technical teams.

• Full responsibility for small series project sales, profitability and implementation.

• Manage customer relations through full project life cycle together with stakeholder management internally

• Formulating clear hypotheses for new projects with MVP/PoC concepts to validate use cases related to strategic segmenting, future sales volume or business models

 

Your profile

We are looking for a curious self-starter who likes to work with both technology and business development close to customers in a high paced environment. You have an open mind and enjoy building things in a context where the road forward is not always clear. Experience from B2B negotiations, complex sales and commercialisation of solutions through the Scania network is highly meriting.

You have a commercial and or technical university degree and master English with high proficiency. Leadership experience is mandatory and to be successful in this role, you should enjoy a combination of hands-on tasks together with long term business strategies. Travelling might be required pending current Corona situation.
