Food Solutions, part of Packaging Solutions, focus is to drive the development and deployment of current and new solutions in different geographies while capturing the requirements for the development of packaging innovation fitting consumer and customers’ needs.
In addition to the unique Tetra Recart food categories such as vegetables, beans, pet-food and ready meals, Food Solutions also cover solutions based on the full Tetra Pak portfolio for the food categories soups, sauces and tomato.


In the role of Business Development Officer, you will support in the business development needs in close collaboration with the Business Development Managers in the team as well as in the Clusters.
You will have direct contact with potential customers, and manage tasks such as customer visits, planning and coordination etc
This position will report to the Food Solutions Director Business Development & Product Management.




What you will do
· Manage customer visits, present Food solutions and develop understanding of customer needs
· Attend trade shows and exhibitions to develop networks and awareness about new products and segments
· Support to develop the capabilities in the clusters
· Support clusters with solutions to drive PM growth


This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena with some travel.



Who you are
· Master’s degree in business administration or Engineering
· Min 2 years of experience from the food or packaging industry, preferably with some experience in working with prospecting and business development
· Experience and knowledge of key technical solutions for the food categories
· Knowledge of key food categories such as: tomato, soups, vegetables, pet-food etc
· Experience from interaction with customers and prospects
· A good presenter to different audiences, both on a senior and operational level
· Strong personal drive for results in combination with the ability to build networks and relationships with other people as well as a good team player


Other valued experience


· Interaction and knowledge about retailers
· Experience and understanding of different sales channels especially e-commerce
· Knowledge and experience from Tetra Recart
