Do you have excel as the go-to office tool and enjoy problem solving and market analysis? that involves price comparison and optimization? Do you feel energized working in dynamic industries where the business dynamics are constantly changing. Then you might be the MSP Business Development & Prising Manager we are looking for.
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and power solutions to a supplier of complete and sustainable electrified transport solutions. An important part of this journey is to better understand the ecosystem around BEV and develop solutions that lower the threshold for our customers to join the BEV journey with us. We see that most of our customer’s uncertainty to commit to BEV derives from uncertainty in the ecosystem around the actual vehicle.
“Our task is to bridge this uncertainty gap and develop solutions that enable and elevates the BEV market for Scania. This we do by navigating the space and opportunities within the BEV ecosystem including electricity market, charging and the digital world to understand and develop Scania complimentary solution offer to BEV.”
Pontus Finnström – Head of Charging Strategy & Business Development
What to expect:
You will join a group of real team players with various backgrounds e.g. Energy Utility, IT, telecom, charging, management consulting, etc., and of course also Scania. Our common denominator is to drive sustainable transport forward by enabling BEV sales through developing additional needed solutions.
Scania has made an important strategic decision to widen its offer into the energy market for public charging. Scania will offer its own solution for BEV customers to find, access, book and pay for public charging. This means that Scania is developing the technical solution but also sets the pricing to the end BEV customers when charging publicly throughout Europe. The solution will probably be the first on the market adapted specifically for heavy duty vehicles.
You will be responsible to set and maintain a strategic yet competitive pricing for Scania’s MSP offer, i.e. setting electricity pricing to BEV customers all across Europe. You will have support by the overall MSP responsible Business Owner and work closely together. The MSP solution will be a key product offer within Scania’s e-Mobility portfolio and a central piece to excel within e-mobility going forward. As the MSP Business Development & Pricing Manager you will be deeply involved in exciting business development activities surrounding the overall MSP proposition.
Together with colleagues from business development, service design, research & development teams you will be setting the standard for Scania’s e-Mobility business going forward.
