Business Ethics Professional

Business Ethics Professional

Arbetsbeskrivning

At Sandvik, we’re committed to conducting our business with honesty, integrity and high ethical standards to meet legal requirements as well as stakeholder expectations. At our Group Legal department, our Governance function is responsible for managing and continuously improving our corporate governance and business ethics within Sandvik’s global organization. We contribute to the work of mitigating company risks by focusing on improving and developing our established governance framework within three key areas: The Sandvik Way; Speak Up; and our Code of Conduct.
To cover for a parental leave within our team, we’re now looking for a Business Ethics Professional to support us in a temporary assignment until August 2022. If you want the chance to contribute in an important part of our business while honing your skills within business ethics and governance– this is the job for you!

Your mission
In this position, we welcome you to a team with an open and supportive atmosphere where we keep a close dialogue and help each other out. This is an inspiring and independent job where you increase your knowledge of our different ethics systems and have the chance to build a global network of colleagues across the organization. As Business Ethics Professional, you’re responsible for the administration and management of our Speak Up and Code of Conduct processes and systems, as well as for generating different reports for these on a regular basis.
You also add value to the organization by developing communication material for Speak Up, Code of Conduct and The Sandvik Way. To oversee our training material to ensure that the information is relevant and up to date is also a natural part of the job. You act as the main point of contact for our whistleblowing systems provider to make sure everything works as intended based on our needs and the Business Areas’ requests.
This position is preferably located at our headquarters in Stockholm (Sweden), although you can be located at any of our European sites.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree and a few years’ experience from a similar industry, perhaps from a role within EHS, Governance/Compliance within HR, or as Project Manager. Documented experience within project management is a plus, as are additional skills within stakeholder management and data analytics. As we operate in a global setting, you communicate effortlessly in both verbal and written English, while additional language skills are a plus.
Your personality is very important to us – your structured and thorough approach makes it easy for you to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously, all while still providing excellent service to our colleagues and stakeholders in the business. As this role requires managing sensitive information, you act with a high level of integrity and maturity. As a self-starting team player, you’re confident in your actions and enjoy working independently, but also know when to seek advice from others.
