As Business Expert, you will be working with two product teams that are together shaping the future of price optimization omnichannel through development and implementation of AI technologies and the user experience around it. Pricing Insights & Recommendation product team is focused on machine learning and AI, Price Adjustment Experience product team is focused on the in-tool user experience.


Job Description
As a Business Expert in our two product teams, you are accountable for making sure the products meet end user needs, both in the digital and retail channels, and bring value to the business. Our products support merchandisers in our sales regions in the whole H&M Group on a global scale. Alongside our current Business Expert, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, UX designers, stake holders and end users, focusing on pinpointing and prioritize wanted effects for the products and how these can be realized to create business value.
As a Business Expert you are the link between sales and tech. You will identify improvement needs and potentials and find business opportunities which will contribute to exceed the user expectations. You are passionate in taking part in our development and loves to be in the center of the action where the products meet business. To make a difference for our regions and markets you need to be able to transform this into tangible actions in a keep it simple way. Together with the teams you will find smart processes and tools to support the mission in a successful way.
Furthermore, you will:
Have one leg in the subject matter expertise perspective (sales & merchandising), and one in the tech perspective, finding synergies and bridge the two product teams.
Have deep understanding of the current pricing processes as well as the potentials for the future and are responsible for defining needs through a tight collaboration with users and stakeholders in many parts of the organization, to support & make sure that we are maximizing our business outcome.
Work closely with end users to understand and document business requirements. Translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements that the development team can use. Take a holistic perspective to the business problem, challenge status quo and the users in identifying the real problem in order to find the right solution.
Work closely with the developers to anchor the business perspective during all phases of the tech development. You will participate & drive the business agenda in team meetings related to e.g. price elasticity, demand forecast features & granularity, optimization constraints, replenishment functionality, in-tool user experience, etc.
Be responsible to support merchandisers hands-on during price reduction activities, being the point of contact for the regions and proactively securing a smooth experience for them.
Be responsible for making sure that the product meets value by taking on the change management perspective in relation to end users and other stakeholders, including training and making sure new features are being well-received while driving engagement and motivation among end users.
Actively identify new stakeholders in a constantly changing environment



Qualifications
As a Business Expert you will be a key driver in these two teams; therefore, we think you have interest in pricing, user experience and technology. You are a communicative team player with great presentation skills. You are strategic and fast in understanding and execution. Our products’ scope and potential constantly grow and we believe that you are driven by seizing this opportunity to shape the future for reductions and prices.
Furthermore, you:
Have previous experience within H&M merchandising, business controlling, supply chain or similar area. Experience in working with retail is a plus
Excel at stake holder management
Have experience with tool- and/or method development
Are a connector and collaborator, positive and energetic, and you actively build trust and relationships at all levels
Are a solution-focused “do-er”, willing to get hands-on, solving any problems needed to make the team move forward
Are self-driven, flexible and independent
