About Partner Connectivity
Partner Connectivity is a part of the Customer Fulfillment domain, working with business and tech development in our supply chain, in tight collaboration with our partners. Our area currently has 14 product teams, and our mission is to fulfil customer deliveries, every day, through a flexible and sustainable partner eco-system with speed.
The Competence Lead Role and being a Business Expert
As Competence Lead for Business Experts you will have dual focus – staff responsibility, building and developing our Business Experts within the area on one hand, and on the other hand you are contributing as part of the Product Area’s daily work as a Business Expert yourself. We believe being part of the delivery, this gives you the best insights to help our staff within the same role to grow.
Our area has a strong group of business experts, currently lead by one existing Business Expert Competence Lead, whom you will be complementing and working tightly with. As a Competence Lead, you will have staff responsibility for employees within the same/adjacent competence as your own. Your staff responsibility covers different Product Teams and tasks include building a team of business experts, development conversations, salary review and to support your team members’ growth.
As a Competence Lead, you will work with some of the following tasks as staff responsible:
• Supporting the personal development of our Business Experts through continuous dialogue
• Supporting our Business Experts from our employer perspective, in regard to e.g. work environment, rehab cases, conflict management and under-performance, while remaining compliant with laws and policies
• Recruitment and workforce planning for business experts within the area
• Individual performance and salary review
As a Business Expert you will work closely with the product owners within the product area, other business experts, software engineers, and data analysts. You will also collaborate with stakeholders in other product areas and enabling functions, as well as sales, store operations and logistics. You will be able to bring creative and innovative ideas to cross– and have a large impact on how we shape the future of fashion logistics.
As a Business Expert, you will most likely work with some of the following tasks:
• Act as a subject matter expert
• External business/industry surveillance
• Close cooperation with collaboration partners - set and maintain contact inside and outside Business Tech
• Drive business development - find business opportunities with customer in focus
• Alignment regarding business solutions with other BE in other product areas/product teams
• Support Product owner setting roadmap
• Support Product owner setting scope
• Handover info to operations and global training responsible
• Work close to Global Superusers
• Effect goal follow up with business operations
Qualifications
The experience we would love to see:
We are looking for someone who has demonstrated potential for the leadership we aspire for within Business Tech. Previous experience from leadership and staff responsibility is of merit, but not required.
You are an important team member in this transformation - we believe you are communicative, flexible, and able to work in an environment that is not fully formalized. You have previous experience from working in large companies with many stakeholders, you have worked with distributed teams, and you know how to translate business requirements and visualize technical roadmaps. We also believe that you have:
• The ability to manage complexity when there are no given answers
• A true doer mindset, being willing to get hands-on, solving any problems needed to help the product area colleagues move forward
• Experience of leading employees
• The ability to give feedback and take corrective action in a constructive way
• The ability to coach others in a way that enables them to grow professionally and to increase their performance
• An agile mindset and willing to find new ways to deliver on your goals in case you get stuck
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
