Job Description


As a Business Expert in Business Tech, you will be in the center of the action where tech meets business. You will be working closely with Product Owners, development teams and other stakeholders, helping to make sure that the product development is in line with the business need. The Business Expert believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Working with a focus on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability. Delivering exceptional customer and business results.
About Inventory Optimization
Inventory optimization is a part of the Customer Fulfillment Domain and our responsibility covers solutions and improvements through stock optimization and fulfillment of orders to customers, stores, and partners. Inventory Optimization currently have 12 products, and their missions is to make all inventory sellable and available for H&M group customers in the most profitable and sustainable way possible. They generate value by actively supporting growth and operational improvements.


About the product - Next Generation Order Management
Next Generation Order Management (NGOM) is part of the Decomposed, headless and open commerce initiative within H&M and is a new product team within the Customer Fulfilment Domain and Inventory Optimization Product area. The product team is responsible for implementing a new Distributed Order Management solution based on MACH architecture in tight collaboration with multiple teams across several areas within Business Tech.
Joining this team, you will have an opportunity to contribute to the shape of the solution, being a part of the newly formed team that is rapidly growing and looking for talented Business Expert who wants to make an impact on the Inventory Optimization part of the H&M Group, delivering value for our customers!
By being a person with E-commerce experience, with an interest in technology as well as drive for actively contributing to building a new team, you will find this position exiting.
As a business expert you will:
be part of a multi competent product team having the full responsibility to identify and create business value.
together with the product team, drive the tech agenda to take the product team to the next step, based on deep understanding of the product flow/availability and the potentials for the future.
have a tight collaboration with stakeholders in different parts of the organization, to make sure that process & tech is working hand in hand.
secure progress, explain and anchor the content in the process and the solution. All with the aim to maximize business impact, benefit, and effects.

We believe that you have a relevant educational background and also that you:
Have experience of informal leadership
Have a team-oriented mindset
Have the ability to analyze and generate insights from big amounts of data
Have a strong interest and understanding of the customer journey
Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain data and its implications to both technical and business stakeholders
Have a strong motivation to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently
Preferably is familiar with working agile and with digital development
Preferably is familiar with digital development
Have very good speaking and writing skills in English

We also believe that you have at least 2-4 years previous experience in any of:
E-commerce with focus on Order Fulfilment or Order Management Experience
Implementation of new system in IT landscape
Online retail
Supply chain and Logistic processes
Project management
