The Data & Cyber Security Management team is part of the GTO CIO Office. The team you will be a part of has a global responsibility for governing and managing prioritized data within GTO. Architecture and tools to support is an important part of our work.


You will work in close collaboration with many roles, architects, business experts, decision bodies and various business key stakeholders through the Volvo Group. We are aiming for a digitalized future, and the Digital Factory is one cornerstone. We need you to help us with transformation to a data driven company. Together we will secure that our data is accessible and of high quality.

In this position you will act as Business Information Architect. You will support and enable business development through the science of organizing and labeling information and data across the Volvo Group Processes and IT Applications. This includes supporting the overall quality and performance of the data in the GTO processes. You will participate in, or drive studies and investigations related to information architecture. In this role you will contribute to define end to end ways of working ensuring quality, business value and stable processes and solutions for our business. You will work with change management ensuring that our data governance and new ways of working are understood and embraced.


Key responsibilities
The Business Information Architect shall proactively work with:
Information modeling
Change management for digitalization
Business Capability Map
Prerequisites for improving GTO’s Data Quality
Management of GTO and Volvo Group Master Data and other Key Data
Ensure compliance to GTO’s Target Architecture
Ensure the connection between processes and information



Qualifications
Comfortable in Change management and Communication
You are experienced in information management & governance topics such as Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Discovery, Business Glossaries etc.
Up to date on development of architectures and processes for information management, including Master Data and Big Data Management
Knowledge and skills in how to utilize new technologies, such as Data Lakes and Data Catalogues
Business Process knowledge and awareness, understanding the Business facing IT services within Manufacturing,
Pragmatic and result driven
Relevant University Degree
Fluent in English
