For the Group Business Support Data Governance team, within Group Data Management Office, we are now looking for you with experience in information architecture and data governance and who enjoy coaching and inspiring others, to join us in the role as Information Architect.
You will have the responsibility to ensure that Nordea Group data policies and frameworks are implemented within the Group Business Support area, driving modelling of business information and information standardisation work in the data councils.
This is a great opportunity to be part of the continuous build-up and roll-out of information architecture in the Group Business Support Area in Nordea.
The position we offer
As an Information Architect you will have a key role in the Group Business Support Governance team, where we develop and govern Group Business Support information architecture and data governance, and ensure it is properly interconnected and aligned to the Nordea Group information and data landscape.
Your will:
* Develop and implement data policies, principles and standards in daily production and in development activities
* Ensure data management processes are compliant and implemented according to relevant regulations, internal policies and are cost efficient
* Engage with business units and change initiatives, to ensure efficient and aligned usage of information and data
* Engage in defining specific business data definitions and how the data may be used
* Engage and drive towards common business information models and common business data definitions
* Contribute to target architectures with an information architecture perspective
* Contribute to establishment of Nordea Group data standards, processes and requirements for needed tool support
* Participate and contribute to the information architecture discipline in the Nordea Group
* You will drive clear communication and cultural change to influence people in Nordea in the right strategic direction
You will report to the Data Officer for Group Business Support and work closely together with the relevant areas within Group Business Support.
The position can be located in Poland or any of the four Nordic countries.
The qualifications you need
We are looking for you who are recognised as a high performer, acknowledged for your independent drive, result orientation and business intuition. You have strong analytical and conceptual skills to formulate and implement strategies in a complex environment.
You are comfortable in networking with the ability to cooperate with people in all parts of the organisation and on different levels. Working with people is something you enjoy, and you are able understand, motivate, influence and empower others.
In addition, you:
* Have experience working with data or information from an business perspective
* Have experience in data governance or related field within the financial services industry, and ability to translate that experience to assess current and future information and data requirements
* Have experience from similar roles previously and are experienced within the areas of Group Functions, such as Risk, Finance, Regulatory etc.
If you have experience in data governance processes, enterprise architecture layers (business, information, IT solutions) or legal requirements assessment and implementation it will be considered as a clear advantage.
