You will be part of the Power Management team, which has the responsibility to source the electricity that will be sold to our customers in the Nordic. It is a tight and high performing team of six colleagues that report to the Head of Power Management. Vattenfall has one of the largest and most complex product portfolio for Customer Flexibility, in the Nordics today. We see it of great importance and value to continue to developing new products, methods, optimizing models and tools adapted to the future energy system in order to drive the change and stay relevant to our customers. In the role as Business Intelligence Analyst you will mainly work with our systems, models and tools for the physical electricity sourcing and customer consumption flexibility and optimization. You will support our sales teams and their customers with data analyses, risk management, market insights and beneficial solutions. A key responsibility is to ensure high data quality and continuously seek for new ways to improve our internal processes.

Typical tasks or projects can be development of models for physical power trading and asset optimization. Analyze of consumption patterns and use the results for discovering new business opportunities, new solutions and supporting in setting business strategies.

Experience
In order to be successful as a BI Analyst we will highly value your personal qualities, and believe you are driven by new challenges and are eager to learn. That you have hands-on experience from programming or system/data management, preferably from the energy or finance sector. Experience from project management and sales can be a plus.

Qualifications
Relevant technical university degree or equivalent.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Proven work-life experience from programming and /or data management (preferably Python).


As a person you are an analytical problem solver and able to work with sophisticated mathematical models, or are comfortable learning to do so. At the same time, you are flexible to work on more straightforward tasks such as crunching data, if this is what is needed to support the business. You are outgoing, you take initiatives, strive for results and have a willingness to interact directly with customers or external partners. You are enthusiastic about working close with other members of the team – sharing ideas and developing models together.
You have the ability to plan and work in a structured way and you are known for a prompt and excellent delivery of even the most complex issues.
