Business Intelligence & Statistics, KVBA, is a part of the Sales and Marketing organisation. It is an investigative and supporting function to Scania Management both in understanding the current situation as well as the outlook. We are for a long-time owner of several important statistical processes and our mission is to provide the organisation with various kinds of information that should support the decision making throughout the organisation.
We are in an ongoing transformation full of opportunities, where we strive to add the holistic perspective in everything we do. We are now looking for skilled and driven person to take on the challenge of developing our analysis methods for both existing and new data.
Job Description
The day to day work consists of a mix between providing statistics reports/presentations and participating in different business environment projects.
Business Intelligence & Statistics, KVBA is responsible for supporting the Scania Group and TRATON with the following:
• Statistics follow-up and analysis based on internal and external data collection, macro indicators, trends and scenarios.
• Compilation of reports and presentation material to support decision meetings in a variety of different product areas.
• Development and quality assurance of statistics data in cross functional projects/initiatives.
• Maintenance and development of our Business Statistics database and connected BI applications containing volume statistics and competitor information.
KVBA constantly strive to develop the content and quality of the data to enabling proactive insight and storytelling. This also includes broadening the content with new markets, details and segments and adopting the workflow to our strategic processes.
We need top-quality automated processes and better instruments to make research findings more widely available. Therefore, we will continue our focus on standardisation and automation to release time for analysis, improved data quality and increased cooperation with our interfaces
Your Profile
As a person, you are service minded and take great interest in analysis and data capture. Your curiosity and feel for working with numbers will help you develop new methods to broaden the content of the results you and your team deliver. You will work in a stimulating and demanding environment where qualities such as taking initiatives, being creative and social skills will make you successful.
You have an academic education in Economics, Computer Science or equivalent experience. You are fluent in English and Swedish and have a deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, thus they are important tools in your profession. Furthermore, you have some year’s experiences from working, preferable within IS/IT, Marketing or Business Intelligence. Experiences from database and BI development will be to your advantage.
