The main responsibility for the Business Intelligence Analyst is to develop and take responsibility for our BI tools, which are crucial for our financial risk management, business analysis and reporting. You will also carry out important analyzes and assignments that are essential for the business's profitability and risk exposure.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will belong to the Commodities Intelligence department which is responsible for the Financial Risk Management, Power Pricing and development of our BI-tools for our Sales segments.
The team work with all customers and segments in the Nordic countries and you will have colleagues in both Sweden and Finland. Besides your team colleagues you will work closely with Account managers, Portfolio managers, Business control, Vattenfall IT, Sourcing managers and lots of other people.
Main focus for this position is to develop and secure quality in our BI-tools in Power BI and also maintain a high quality in our business analyzes.
You will also be responsible for applications, data flows and decided business logics why it is important to have or gain a deep understanding of the electricity market and electricity Sales business. Our ambition is that your work will form the basis for improved risk management and increased quality in our analyzes and reports.


The right candidate for this role fulfills the following criteria
- Experience of programming, modelling and data management
- Experience from Power BI is an advantage, but not required
- Ability to quickly assess and understand relations between involved systems and tools
- Experience from the electricity market is an advantage, but not required
- Experience from financial derivatives is an advantage, but not required
- Relevant University degree
- Analytical mindset and skills
- Self-driven and a big-picture mindset
- Customer focused and business minded
- Strong communication skills and a true team player
