Resilient Supply Network & Project Management (RSN/PM) is a global organization within GTP with holistic responsibility over the Product Project portfolio, Volume & Supplier Capacity Planning, Supply Partner Development and Crisis Management. We deliver customer value via end to end product evolution ownership & resilient supply network and we enable the best Performance & Customer Success outcomes while fully coordinated with GTT and GTO and Volvo Brands within efficient governance structure. We have a data-based proactive supply network management as well as a strong reactive capability – driving industry leading performance. We use digitalization to Monitor & Develop our suppliers into Trusted Partners, leading to full transparency and proactive visibility of risks during end to end processes.
Resilient Supply Network & Project Management (RSN/PM) Europe being the Strategic steering line for all RSN/PM purchasing activities within GTP, we organize a strong collaboration within RSN/PM purchasing teams spread across different sites/regions, and we are also the operational line responsible for RSN/PM Europe business all along specific process steps and areas. The team is responsible to drive end-to-end Purchasing activities whilst securing QDCF-TSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management) targets.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Business Intelligence and Governance manager, you are the key person to keep the GTP crisis management process run smoothly. You run the internal operational and management pulse meetings, you have a very good knowledge of the on-going crisis activities, you step in when necessary to challenge the situation and secure fast pace and quick escalation when necessary.
You are also actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the crisis management process and tools, in close connection to PS&D. You contribute actively to the digitalization of the crisis management.
Another part of your mission is to gather business intelligence data related to the supply chain challenges of the industry as well as segments where we have developed Tier N relationship. This activity is a great help for the case leaders, for management and for the commodities in general. When necessary, you work jointly with the Raw Material team and other business or technology specialists.
You are also coordinating these crisis and business intelligence activities with the Purchasing organizations of the other Business Areas of Volvo Group.
Your main responsibilities are the following:
Issue Business Intelligence reports on relevant segments to support GTP operational and strategic activities, in close cooperation with Head of Tier N management, Business Specialists and experts, Raw Material team and any other relevant function
Coordinate the GTP crisis management governance: manage the agenda, facilitate meetings, with an active role in the whole process
Be the key contact of PS&D for tools and processes continuous improvement
Secures smooth synchronization with CRISM/CRISC/SRC governance
Synchronize crisis management activities within Volvo Group Purchasing Community (VCE, Penta, Bus)
Issue executive crisis reports
You will be a member of the Crisis Management team and actively contribute to the development of the department. You will report to the Head of Crisis Management.
Main qualifications:
University degree in Engineering/technology and/or Business Administration
Crisis management skills
Strong data management skills
Continuous improvement
Ability to thrive in agile and complex situations
A strong understanding of business challenges in a global environment and preferably a good understanding of the Volvo Group Business
Experience in Purchasing
Executive communication and teamwork skills
Location will be flexible Gothenburg, Sweden or Lyon, France.
