Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The area of BI is of strategic importance for Scania and large investments are made to facilitate our work within BI and analytics. The team you will join works with development and maintenance of BI applications for Scania globally and we support a massive user community of our developed solutions.
The things you get to do

You will be a part of our BI group of about 60 people (Södertälje and offshore) and you will work with the commercial domain of Scania (Sales, Marketing and aftermarket). Your contacts will be both with business users of the applications within the commercial domain as well as internally at Scania IT.
Your continuous development is important to us, and there are many ways for you to continue developing in the BI area with us. As we are working in the same section as where Scania is handling our Data lake, advanced analytics and information management, there are ways for you to learn more about that as well.
What we need from you!
To be able to work with us you need to have the following technical experience:
• Solid T-SQL knowledge (Stored Procedures)
• Data Modelling
• SSAS (Tabular - DAX), SSRS
• Microsoft BI Development e.g. Power BI
You know how to translate business needs into IT related solutions. Experience of agile methods, data warehouse technologies and the financial sector is meritorious. You are also fluent in English and hold a BSc or MSc degree in e.g. Computer Science.
What do you want?
This should be a great match for both of us! If you are a person that is analytical and sees patterns and understand complex problems you will like this job. But also, you have a learning mindset and have the ability to understand and gather information to make decisions. You want to collaborate with others, both your team and our business stakeholders, and together meet the common goal. You strive for continuous improvements and challenge current structures if required. If this is what you enjoy doing, you will love this job!
Benefits you get
We offer exciting career opportunities in a global, market leading company that has a real focus on making this world a better place, both for our current customers and employees, but also for future generations.
