Etraveli Group is now looking for a Business Intelligence Developer.
The BI team is located in Uppsala, but the position can be based in Uppsala or Stockholm depending on the candidate. We can consider both junior and senior candidates for this position.

About the job
Your main task will be to create business intelligence applications. Concretely, this means innovation and maintenance of our well-developed QlikView and Looker application parks. It also means data modelling and implementation of the whole ETL process. Depending on skill and interest the role can also involve development of software for statistical analysis (e.g. anomaly detection) in Python. All in all, the job requires both a deep understanding of the business needs and the skill set to acquire, handle and analyse the relevant data.
Etraveli's data stock with internal and external data is impressive and rapidly growing in dimensions and volume. You will be evaluating, integrating and using modern visualisation and analytics tools suitable for these large and complex data sets.

About you
You have a technical background (maths, physics, engineering or programming) and a business interest, or a business background with a mathematical inclination. You have some experience from communication of quantitative information and statistical models. You also have some background in software development and configuration. You have strong communication skills including excellent command of spoken and written English. Personality-wise you are curious, methodical and thorough.

- University degree in a quantitative subject
- Experience in data visualisation

- Databases (SQL, Impala, MemSQL, Red Shift, BigQuery)
- Scientific programming languages or libraries (R, numpy, pandas, SciPy, Matlab, Julia)
- System configuration (Windows server, GNU/Linux tool sets)
