IKEA Components holds a unique position within the IKEA value chain. We develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. We are currently on an exciting journey expanding from three to nine categories.
IKEA Components has taken the responsibility for the development and sourcing of the IKEA retail equipment range, a range that is an important part of the IKEA identity. But also, the responsibility for IKEA Industry’s purchase have transitioned to IKEA Components with an extended scope to bundle volumes, source and supply to all relevant home furnishing suppliers.
All with the ambition to deliver more customer value, reduce the total supply cost and continue to grow our business and people.

Do you have a passion for Business Intelligence? Do you have a drive to understand business needs and partner up with your colleagues to find solutions? Are you a person with an ability to bridge between business stakeholders and technical experts?
Then you might be our new Business Intelligence Owner!
If so, you will report to our Data & Analytics Manager and work together with and complement a team of around ten colleague skilled in business intelligence and analytics.
You work very closely together with the business stakeholder defining business requirements. When you know the requirements, you put all your energy into finding ways to produce the needed information and visualize it in a comprehensive and clear way. With your ability to translate the requirements of the business into the Business Intelligence context you will make sure that we can exceed the expectations of what true understanding of the data can bring.
We are offering you the following assignment:
- Secure that our business intelligence platforms are developed and maintained in order to meet business needs
- Make sure our technical environment is well monitored
- Build/provide solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards, analysis) matching the requirements and following our rules and principles
- Develop/maintain the governance model and secure it is deployed and followed
- Support steering and follow-up of external partners, e.g. assigning tasks to consultants and make sure deliveries match requirements
- Support the user community in a second-level role
