BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

For our customer in Gothenburg we are looking for a BI-Specialist to be a team member in their organizations product teams. The specific assignment will take place in a product team within Finance area.

We are looking for a BI-Specialist who is enthusiastic about empowering data driven decision making. You are curious by nature and you love working with business intelligence tools, you can model multidimensional data sets, create stunning visualizations and can partner with stakeholders to answer key business questions.

What you will do

- You will solve business problems by exploring trends and patterns in data and transform it into actionable insights
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
- Tell stories by applying your excellent data visualization skills
- Collaborate with technical teams and product owners to measure, report, and take action
- Build automated data solutions and dashboards to enable users to self-service 80% of data needs, allowing you to focus on answering hard and ambiguous problems
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation


Requirements
Your skills

- 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and business intelligence
- Expert data visualization skills using Power BI or similar tools
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence both business and technical teams
- Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development and data warehousing
- Strong experience from MS Azure Data Management Services
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
