Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.The responsibility and focus of the team is mainly to work with demands and business requirements for processes, methods, and IT solutions within the CAD/vPDM area. The key to success is that we through good contacts have gathered great understanding of all needs from the business units at Scania and are able to refine these demands into precise requirements. That requires that we are well aware of our customer’s ways of working in processes and methods, and their need of support with IT tools.

Within the team, you will take on the role as Business IT Analyst and be a vital part of the agile delivery organization that develops the CAD/vPDM software platform. The role of the Business IT Analyst is to lead the gathering of requirements for an area of the CAD/vPDM platform at Scania.

What will you do in this role?


• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement
• Performing requirements analysis
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Performing user acceptance testing
• Working closely with business and software developers
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs
• Participating in the continued improvement of our Ways of Working

Your experience and education


• You have a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar work experience.
• Perhaps you have been working as an engineer and have an interest in Scania products.
• Experience from CATIA, ENOVIA, and/or 3DExperience 
• You enjoy working in an Agile environment with strong customer and user focus
• You take your own initiative and have the ability to lead yourself and others
• You have a strong analytical ability
• You are a people person and are strong in both written and spoken communication in both Swedish and English
