Business IT Analyst, Purchasing - Business IT & Support
Scania Purchasing is responsible for providing value to our customers by supplying products to the right Technology, Quality, Delivery and Cost focusing on Sustainability. The group SPI, Purchasing - Business IT & Support assures the upholding and continuous development of systems and tools as lead function within Scania Group Purchasing. Beside this we are supporting the line organisation in IT-system questions, are responsible for purchasing educations and purchasing inline. Furthermore we are the meeting administrators for all purchasing decision meetings.
Due to several new approved initiatives, aligned projects within the Volkswagen Group and an ambitious Purchasing IT-Roadmap we want to extend our team with one new Business IT Analysts.
Your work
You will, in close connection to your colleagues of Business Developers (SPX) and System Administrators, develop and/or improve Purchasing IT Systems incl. steering processes to support the Purchasing organisation in the best possible way. This includes structured and creative work, as well as internal and cross-functional communication, to set the proper demands on system(s) within your area of responsibility. Furthermore you are the essential link to Scania IT, maintain existing IT systems, but also define demands for development and implementation of a future modular IT landscape and mentoring Scania IT while system development to assure that IT projects provide the expected benefit for the Purchasing Organization. You work in an international environment, aligning plans for IT infrastructure within Scania Group Purchasing as well as with our partners of the Volkswagen Group incl. benchmarks, strategies and joint projects.
Your profile
We are looking for a communicative, positive and driven person, who enjoys the varying tasks of an IT Business Analyst role. You are oriented cross-functional, like to work within teams and with different projects at the same time. Required is an open minded person able to moderate discussions, align different opinions and develop a best possible way. Your skills include fast learning, modular thinking and immanent holistic overview.
You probably have a degree from university, or similar, and have adequate knowledge of Scania IT systems, preferable connected to Purchasing applications and at least basic understanding of Scania Purchasing. Aside of passion for IT systems and applications you are interested in improvements, efficiency and processes.
Leadership and good communication skills as well as ability to create confidence and trust among our internal customers is vital, since you will lead projects regarding the implementation of IT tools incl. new methods and principles.
You are fluent in both written and oral English.
