Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Business IT Regional Infrastructure Manager for it's Ludvika, SE location. This role is responsible for taking full ownership of the delivery of all IT infrastructures service in our largest factories within the region, which have the highest complexity and commercial value. For this position, we are looking for a senior person with strong infrastructure skills.
The focus of this role is on day-to-day service delivery and helping to building the foundation for a transformation that addresses strategic challenges such as; the convergence between IT and OT, Cybersecurity and cost-effective IT delivery. You should be comfortable with communicating with a range of stakeholders from across factory management teams as well as engineers in the factory. Effective communication will therefore require both functional business acumen and technical expertise. As a person who gets the job done, you are prepared to be hands-on when it comes to implementing change.
Your Responsibilities:
Concept Design and Build
Establish the role and concept and communicate this out to key stakeholders from across the Business, Regions (HUBs) and Sites. Ensure the performance of the IT environments against the defined practices and policies at the site or sites.
Optimization Opportunities
Responsible for working with the BU Global IT Manager or BU HUB IT manager to understand and prioritize the opportunities for strategic improvements at the sites in scope.
Issue Resolution
Responsible for oversight and monitoring of issue resolution at the sites in scope.
Resolving issues for the factory, focusing on strategic issues and overseeing resolution of the day-to-day tactical issues. Will be responsible for working with the Hub IT Lead on solving more strategic complex issues which have been escalated or where there is a known high-volume of specific issues. This issue resolution should also include vendor related issues, and internal IT Product Group issues.
Inventory Management
Monitoring and oversight of the assets that that have captured within the inventory management at the sites in scope of the Hub. Understanding where there are strategic gaps, issues or opportunities within the inventory management catalog or the inventory management approach.
Project Management
Responsible for oversight of key strategic projects at the sites in scope. This will be either be in a decision making or informed role, or where appropriate responsible for acting as the project manager on the project when the scale and complexity requires it.
Team Leadership
Will play an important leadership role; advising and guiding on key principles, coaching and developing the teams and helping make important decisions. Will be responsible for working with other stakeholders at the site(s) and within Global IT.
Governance
Attends and inputs into leadership governance forums for information and awareness. Attends site level governance to provide steer and decision making. Introduces and manages targeted governance forums with key stakeholders to provide ongoing communications as well as project or issue specific communications. Supports cyber security monitoring and execution of factory tasks including patch management, vulnerability management.
Your background:
Experience in Shared Services IT and Business / Local IT is required, ideally including experience working in Factory IT either as Regional IT Leader or Site-Specific IT Leader. Typically requires 10+ years of experience across these areas.
Deep understanding of systems and technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and industrial control systems. They should be able to analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise with these systems and have the technical expertise to implement solutions.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff (direct and virtual), and maintain alignment with business strategy and business stakeholders.
Sufficient business acumen, including industry and process knowledge of the organization and its business units. Needs to be able to understand the commercial drivers of an organization and translate between these business needs and OT / IT needs.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, influencing, negotiations and execution skills. Stakeholder management will be a key part of this role.
Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels. Hands-on approach to work, strong sense of ownership and accountability. Demonstrated leadership, including team leadership and organizational skills, in a cross-cultural environment.
Fluent in English and Swedish (spoken and written), additional languages are a valued asset based on the region being operated in.
