As a Business Lead, Live Ops, Creative Play - you will work with our community team, our CPOs & production to build out our Live Ops function here on our Creative Platform.

You will sit across the business case, work with the long range forecasting, take the overview of the commercial model & look to find the best way to implement that in our product. In addition, you will work with Commercial & Nexon stakeholders on the build out of our Live Ops function - to connect the dots between community, game development, marketing & business.

This means shaping our product strategy, ideating with the development leads, extracting & packing the direction the product will take as move to early access & general availability.

We are looking for someone that has a proven track record in making & marketing games - creating & executing strategies for marketing, community, commerce & Live Services (GaaS). On occasion, your job will also require you to juggle high level stakeholder meetings, collaborate across the studio, share best practices & drive the business case for our product forward.

Example of responsibilities

- Look across our business model & drive the conversation between developer, publishing team & owners on the best way to achieve our goals.

- Work with the studio commercial team, game director - understanding key drivers, competition, market drivers, uniqueness in our product, all the necessary inputs/levers, and how to build a solid financial plan for the product.

- Understanding of business & marketing landscape, an interest in connecting this to evolving approaches to monetization around creative goals - not consumption only.

- Hands on work with the business model canvas, value proposition, key growth segments, cost structure, revenue streams - how can we optimize & turn our users into super fans for the long term.

- Work with go to market strategy & coordinate with agencies to drive a hands on approach that will turn business planning into action

- Working closely with community & engagement track, economy designers. work closely with a newly hired senior community/marketing lead & shape the Live Ops mission for Creative Play.

- Deepen your understanding of the trendlines around the creator economy & how the Creative Pass system, Content Store & other key parts of our product influence our creator ecosystem.

- Support Quarterly Forecast, Annual Budget, Long Range Planning (LRP) processes. Includes consolidation, insights, and storytelling across the franchise in addition to P&L reporting.

- Working together with the business teams to articulate trends, financial results, milestones, risks, and opportunities, and synthesize into an overall narrative for the rest of the organization.

- Turn these trends, opportunities into actionable insights & drive together with the development team leads.

- Collaborate and partner with multiple feature / track owners within the organization to help build, model, and understand business trends, build business cases on monetization models and pricing

We would love if you have

- A native-level command of English, consistent & positive in tone

- Experience with hands on ‘scale up’ communities in the creative play space

- Knowledge of marketing & community landscape in games - preferably in the creative product, entertainment & gaming space

- Experience of building the commercial side of a Live OPs team

- Experience with hands on ‘scale up’ communities in the creative play space

- Would be awesome if you also have been through at least one high growth scale up journey with your Live Ops experience, and/or are experienced with both consumer facing & developer facing communities
