Business Line Controller - Sales Area Northern Europe

To Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, we are now looking for a Business Line Controller to help us make sure we have a successful financial performance management structure for the two divisions of Crushing and Screening and Parts and Services in the Northern European region. Within our sales area, we’re responsible for sales and service activities in 21 countries in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. Our business is spread between the mining and construction industries, and our customer base represents a wide variety of applications. Your mission
As Business Line Controller, you drive the development of our operations by validating financial data and communicating facts and numbers to the organization. You interact and collaborate with all our stakeholders to identify improvements in our processes. You also work very close with our business line managers, and you support and challenge them in development, as well as in implementation of our strategy. Other important parts of your assignment are monitoring and analyzing operational results – you manage forecasts, financial results, profitability analysis and advice on profitable growth. In this role, you are located at our Crushing and Screening site in Svedala, Sweden, and some business travel is included in your job.


Your background and character
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in Finance or Business Administration, combined with a couple of years’ experience from similar positions or from an auditing or consulting company. As we are a global player, you need excellent verbal and written skills in English.


To succeed in this role, we believe that you also have:
Experience from providing operational and financial advice to senior management
Solid understanding of how to drive business from results and balance sheets
The ability to challenge and support us in generating economic value in our business strategy
Strong skills in excel, data warehouse solutions and ERP solutions and how to connect analytical tools with our operations



You have a talent for turning operational and financial data into strategic business advantages, and you effectively know how to balance small details with the bigger picture. To interact in diverse and cross-functional environments excite you, and you use your good communication skills to influence and create great collaborations.
